Send your squad on missions — recon, assault, heists, hijacks, rescues, and more. Each mission is a live battle: your units and the enemy trade fire in real time until one side breaks. Win and you bank cash, experience, and Conflict Points, plus loot — supply crates, gear, and sometimes captured enemy units. Lose, and you bury the dead.
Your forces climb through four tiers. Basic units are recruited with cash. Mid-tier specialists are upgraded from veterans with Conflict Points. Elite "ultra" units can only be found — rare drops from the hardest missions. And the three super-vehicles aren't bought or looted at all: you assemble them, part by part.
Cold Conflict's battles reward the commander who thinks. Snipers shred infantry but glance off armor. Rockets gut tanks and helicopters. Drones are nearly impossible to hit and sharpen your whole army's aim. Medics and engineers keep your line alive mid-fight; officers boost everyone in range. Stack the right force against the right enemy and you'll win battles you had no business winning.
At the top of the war machine sit three super-vehicles — the Colossus Tank, the Phantom Jet, and the Fortress APC. None can be bought. You collect their parts from the hardest missions, bring them to the Assembly Bay, and put your elite engineers to work. Days later, you claim a vehicle that can turn a battle by itself.
Every mission earns experience and rank, from Private all the way to General of the Army. Rank unlocks everything that matters — radar to hunt other commanders, alliances, the Assembly Bay, and the rare-drop tables on elite units. The higher you climb, the more dangerous the world becomes — and the more there is to take.
